CinemaBowl II: The Directors (Round One: Blue C & D)

Oy, my head. This is the last of the first-round face-offs; all future pairings will be determined by You, the Voter (cue the self-important Civic Duty music). Tomorrow, I'll run a blitz poll to handle the numerous ties that have cropped up along the way, as well as a revised pairing for the screw-up in yesterday's poll; after that, there will likely be an extended hiatus, as I'll be chasing my kids for the next few weeks. (I really must apologize here for some of the miserable choices on this list; I'm realizing in hindsight that there are a bunch of names that I could have easily excised, and a bunch I could have easily included. Ahh, well, water over the dam now.)
