In praise of excess
Aug. 11th, 2010 10:47 pmSo after hearing of
fiddle_dragon's exceptional batch of salsa verde over IM, I threatened to pop by immediately and alleviate her "horrible 'have too much salsa verde' problem.
fiddle_dragon: There's no such thing as too much salsa verde!
Me: *laugh* True. Just as there is no such thing as too many bookshelves.
Indeed. Which, in turn, led me to consider what else there can never be too much or too many of. Hugs are an easy call, as are jokes. Ditto crisp autumn days in the Northeast. Criterion Collection DVDs would be on my list, although perhaps not on everyone else's, as would cups of hot cocoa, provided I could space them out at a rate of one per day. And although I can imagine there being such a thing as too many orgasms, I suppose, I'd still like to give it my best shot.
You?
