So after hearing of [livejournal.com profile] fiddle_dragon's exceptional batch of salsa verde over IM, I threatened to pop by immediately and alleviate her "horrible 'have too much salsa verde' problem.

[livejournal.com profile] fiddle_dragon: There's no such thing as too much salsa verde!
Me: *laugh* True. Just as there is no such thing as too many bookshelves.

Indeed. Which, in turn, led me to consider what else there can never be too much or too many of. Hugs are an easy call, as are jokes. Ditto crisp autumn days in the Northeast. Criterion Collection DVDs would be on my list, although perhaps not on everyone else's, as would cups of hot cocoa, provided I could space them out at a rate of one per day. And although I can imagine there being such a thing as too many orgasms, I suppose, I'd still like to give it my best shot.

You?

No, I agree with you on sunshine. Lunch times for me are an effort to get OUT of the office and eating lunch in the sun as often as possible. Even years ago when I lived in CA, my favorite lunchtime passtime was to eat outside in the grass (we didn't have tables at that company) a la picnic style and soak up as much sun as possible before going back into the super-cooled freezer they call/called and office.

Listening to the commentary tracks on the Criterion DVD of Walkabout made me realize what commentary tracks are for. They interviewed Roeg and Agutter separately and then spliced bits of the interviews in when it was appropriate. (Surprise: commentary tracks do not exist merely so Judd Apatow can have a party with his Frat Pack actor friends while shouting out things like "when we were in the middle of filming the next scene, I think Seth farted.")

There IS such a thing as too much/too many with orgasms. No, really. Trust me.

Blank notebooks. Pens. Colored pencils. Books. Minutes in a really good day.
