Doing the SCA thing again for the first time in over a decade, along with rafaela, lbitw, jenphalian: Business meeting, fight practice, socializing, not necessarily in that order. I'd forgotten how much fun this is. We all got to discover that lbitw is a absolute natural at whonking armored people with big sticks. (This is, indeed, a compliment.) And we got to meet the charming larmer from Toronto, a fine storyteller and a gentleman by any and all criteria.

Another fight practice approaches soonly, and I may give in and strap on a helmet so that I may submit myself to wilfull abuse. Then again, considering that I get paid to do that five days a week, this may turn out to be a busman's holiday. Not to mention painful:

rafaela is feeling a tad under the weather at the moment. Should pass quickly. *wills psychic hugs in her direction*
