slipjig3So. Day One of that writing thing has come and gone. I actually met my daily quota technically, but since a sizable portion of it was written at work I don't have it all in my typed document just yet. Ahh, well. 1,420 words is 1,420 more than I managed last time, so go, me.
Don't worry, the novelty of all this will wear off soon, and I'll start writing about other things. That time, sadly, is not now, because I just spent entirely too much time trying to figure out how one would write a song about Wikipedia to the tune of Prince's "Shockadelica". This is a good sign as any that it's time for nappy-bye. *waves*
Oh, and at work today, a gentleman on a pay phone decided to crank-call me by serenading me with a chorus of "Kiss You All Over" by Exile. Give him credit for panache, but he needs to die painfully for the earworm. Bastard.
