I should be writing something incredibly momentous for entry numero ten-to-the-second, but I am utterly devoid of mental energy. If I were a good little blogger, I'd be recapping Christmas in all its wintry glory, but as we speak I'm floating in a haze of exhaustion and post-holiday apathy. It's not that my Christmas was bad (I had a marvelous time, in fact), so much as that I already poured so much lifeblood into making it happen, and now I need to let the day lie there for a while. I can't even muster up a Loot List right now.

Tomorrow I'll no doubt be able to talk about driving to work through the Snow Squalls of Odin, about Nik's total indifference to the huge pile of wrapped gifts under his nose, about the hors d'ouevres that I would gladly trade in my spleen for a lifetime supply of, about Kristi's big gift to me, and mine to her. But not now. Right now, I want to be showered with fine chocolates, semi-clothed hugs and blessed sleep. Good night, happy belated holidays, and to everyone, the sweetest of sweet dreams.

Sounds like a perfectly post-holdaze reaction to me hon.. 'specially considering you had to work on top of it all. *hugs*

Thanks muchly! :) I'm just afraid that if I wait too long, it'll be too late to write anything about Christmas. What is the statute of limitations on such things?

There is none.. Joy and Strife of the Holidaze are just like murder, no statute applies. Hee hee
