Reasons to be utterly miffed with life:

1) I've run out of checks, and I forgot to reorder.
2) It's snowing. Again. Dammit.
3) Abbey pitched a fit this morning, because I handed her the cinnamon toast on the green plate instead of the cinnamon toast on the orange plate, even though she specifically requested the green plate, and by the time she had begun her protest of all this, Nik had already started eating the orange-plate cinnamon toast, which was TOTALLY UNFAIR.
4) We have no Cognac, which is necessary for not one, but two of the dishes I'm making tomorrow. I was at th liquor store 18 hours ago. I could have prevented this. I am a damned, damned fool.

Wow, only four things. I guess this will be a good day.

I am thinking that the cognac is necessary for the toast too, personally. ;-) *hugs*

Wonder how she would of taken it if you had messed with her head and told her that green WAS orange? I mean, sure, she would of argued for a bit, but would she eventually started doubting herself? That could of been fun. :) Ya, I know, I am evil, but what are kids for if not evil psychological experimentations?

Your dinner will be FABOOO, with or without the cognac :)

Hey, what is parenthood, if not the world's best ongoing science experiment? ;-)

Thank you for the vote of confidence. *hugs back at you* Actually, the Cognac isn't really optional, at least in the case of the chicken dish: I get to set this sucker on fire. Woohoo! Testosterone cookin'! :-) I should have time to pick some up before work.

Oh, just pour some lighter fluid on the sucker - works pretty much the same way.

On second thought, you probably don't want to take my advice. :-)

As for the plate thing, you just need some green-colored glasses. Everything will be green!
