1) When the cat rubbed up against my guitar while I was playing, I tried to get her to strum with her tail while I played the fingerings. "Come on, man," said [livejournal.com profile] rafaela with revoltingly little hesitation, "she's not Leo Cattke." She then ran like hell and barricaded the bedroom door. Dammit, I hate it when that gets turned around on me.

2) The next time you're over, remind me to show you my treasured copy of Backward Masking Unmasked by Rev. Jacob Aranza, in which we learn that Captain and Tennille are going straight to Hades because they're vegetarians. Good reading for those days when Chick tracts are just a little too well-reasoned.

3) Massive headache at work today. A coworker slipped me a spare 800mg ibuprofin, which somehow succeeded in transferring the ice pick from my right eye socket to my left eye socket. Crudbucket.

4) Also at work, I've apparently been voted Most Likely to Annoy the Living Goulash Out of You by Keeping the Last Volume of the DVD Set You Want at the Library Two Weeks Late. I can't even muster up the energy to be offended.

5) No, ma'am, I can't imagine why the police hung up on you when you informed them that your house is haunted, which is why your mother and sister disappeared earlier this afternoon. Understand, though, that hauntings sometimes make people like the operator inadverdently disconnect you in mid-se

Any time, hon. *hugs*

I don't suppose there's any chance you'd be touring the Northeast any time soon? (Hey, I can dream.)

Well, if by Northeast you mean New York City, I will be there from April 21-27... (I tried to talk my mom into going to Boston for my graduation trip, but not so much. And I do love NYC.) If it is at all possible to meet up with you and the lovely [livejournal.com profile] rafaela (not that you're not lovely, but...you know what I mean, yes?), I would very much like to do so.
