I would like to state for the record that the acoustic version of Lords of Acid's "Slave to Love" that I just worked out is [livejournal.com profile] rubian77's fault, not mine. Thank you.

As long as we're discussing music, I call the Land of Ailing Computers, and the transplant of our music collection from Stupid Broken Hard Drive to Shiny Working Hard Drive has been successful, and we will be picking up the happy shiny thing on Monday. Joyous rapture! It'll take us months to get caught up on all the mixes we owe people. You want one?

You owe me one from like a year ago!

Nyah!

I'm starting to think you don't listen to music at all and lie about it and will never ever make me my mix.

Weener.

But I'm glad your mission of music recovery went well.

Weener.

You don't owe me a mix, but I'm curious as to what you'd put on one for me. (Which is to say, yes, please?)

There's a Bryan Ferry song by the same title...is the Lords of Acid one a cover?

Emphatically not: this one's a hardcore techno BDSM-themed thing.

*nod* thanks. I'll have to check it out some time.

The Bryan Ferry song did get used in the movie Nine ½ Weeks.

I think the contradiction inherent in these statements says a lot about your character. Freak. Wanna come over and hang out someday?

It's a weakness. We leave it at that.

I think you enjoy being late with the mixes, so you can offer apolologies for the lateness.

I'm always up for a new mix, you know that.

(Providing, of course, you're not holding it against me that I put that bug into your ear about the acoustic version of "Slave to Love.")
