Just for future reference, and you may want to jot this down: of all the songs to become earwormed with on your way to the office, Monty Python's "Medical Love Song" is pretty high on the Not Recommended list. It's not just that it's distracting when trying to take calls from, say, 82-year-old widows trying to contact their grandchildren, but one tends to draw peculiar looks from one's coworkers when one is singing, "Inflammation of the foreskin reminds me of your smile...." Just sayin'.

Oh, and more reasons I love [livejournal.com profile] jenphalian, [livejournal.com profile] lbitw, [livejournal.com profile] zarhooie and [livejournal.com profile] sideshownate: they feed us homemade sesame chicken, lend us Boondock Saints DVDs, and give me Jaffa Cakes of my very own. And they all hug really really really well.

"At least we both were lying when we said that we were clear..." ;-)

I prescribe Tom Jones singing "Thunderball." Good earworm-blaster, plus I like that song. (I used it once to get an early Britney Spears song the hell outta my head.)

Speaking of unexpected-in-the-office things to say, once I said something rather tongue-twisting that a gorgeous co-worker overheard. She complimented me on how well I'd said it. I replied, "Yeah, I'd like to be known for how well I use my tongue." That sideways look-and-half-smile I got from her is precious to me.

*grin* I am safe in knowing that not only would I never get such a look from a coworker, but also that, given the current office staff, I wouldn't want one.
