I believe
deyaniera has said it best:
I'll be in my corner, licking my wounds.
It could've been worse—at least we didn't lose to the Patriots.
Amen, comrade. 'Tis a sad, sad day to be a Chicagoan. Yes, I know, it's an honor to make it to the big game, but c'mon, Bears, this was the day not to blow marmots. *weeps onto my slab of Carson's ribs*
On a more positive note, I am now free to completely ignore any and all sporting events until next autumn, which pleases me no end. For now, off to more important considerations. Like, y'know, the Oscars.

Date: 2007-02-05 03:29 am (UTC)You ignore the Kentucky Derby? For shame. ;) That's what I'm gearing up for. My sports life= Football-Triple Crown-repeat
It's nice how that works when my team gets into the Super Bowl. It's just time for the Triple Crown races to start.
