This morning, I dropped off a packet at the Glens Falls Post-Star, containing a proposal for a weekly puzzle feature for their Thursday supplement, along with a metric snootload of photocopies of some of my published work. Yes, it's a cold call. No, I have no reason to expect that the editor will jump at the presented opportunity. But he might. He might.

And now we wait, fingers firmly crossed.
