1) No matter how charming and kind the tow truck driver is, it's still not worth the cost of the tow and the repaired blowout, plus the 45 minutes of being stranded out on the side of the road.

2) All together now: It's finally lupus!

3) It seems that the new sparkly air mattress has a new sparkly inflation problem, i.e. I should not be feeling the hardwood floor 'neath my heinie when I wake up.

4) I love to cook. However, I cannot cook unless there is good music playing. However, I cannot cook while good music is playing without dancing. Therefore, I am a dork. Quod erat demonstrandum (Latin for "so there, nyahh").

5) Oh, ye gods, the peoples, the wonderful, wonderful peoples! The lots and lots of wonderful peoples! I squee over the wonderfulness! And the peopleness!

8) Turkey, sweet potatoes, salad, mashed potatoes, stuffing, butternut squash, portabello pie, stuffed mushrooms, asparagus-artichoke sauté, a king's ransom in baked goods, plenty of wine, 2,791 people in the kitchen and a full-to-bursting Adam. Totally Thanksgiving, dude.

9) Oh, well. So much for NaNoWriMo. *sigh*

10) We sadly had to leave too soon to catch s00j's house concert on Friday, but on Thursday night musical instruments came out and I got to hear some of her music for the first time. Lemme tell you, she is absolutely teh amazing. Seek her out, buy her music, be entranced. Like, wow.

11) Speaking of s00j: check current music. Oh, hells, yeah.

12) Speaking of Thursday jam sessions, yes, "88 Lines About 44 Fangirls" had its first official public premiere, along with a few others. I think it went pretty well.

13) "Gypsy Rules corollary: Gypsy rules must always be told in horrible Romanian accent." *dies*

14) A few dozen cards have been added to 'Song's 1000 Blank White Cards deck. Someday we may actually play the thing.

15) Slumber party that night: six of us on the floors and two on the couches, all loopy as hell.

16) Speaking of which: Pillow fight!

17) Hard leaving. Very, very hard. *sigh* There is something to be said, however, for driving through Massachusetts on a gorgeous sunny November afternoon with Van Morrison singing "Wild Nights" on the radio.

18) Already looking forward to next year.
