Oh, the weather outside is frightful (read: "sucktastic")

rafaela and I ventured out for a bit, at which point it started HAILING. Won't be repeating that small mistake any time soon. Ah, well, at least I got an advance on my Christmas present from Anna: new underwear! Much needed and much comfy.

But, oy with the weather already. catamorphism was supposed to be crashing here tonight, as part of his whirlwind bus tour of Parts East of California, but the recent storms apparently have cancelled every last bus out of New York City, leaving him stuck there until tomorrow, and unable to make it up tot he North Country at all. Fugnuggets. *flips off the weather gods* If you're reading this, comrade, I hope all's well with you, and hope we get a chance to cross paths later.

Not all is a loss, however. I got the bathroom scrubbed, the dishes washed, a nap taken (slept for squat last night), and quality time in with the missus, which will make up for us having the clip the cats' claws later on this evening. If anyone has some extra eyepatches lying around, we may need them for the recuperation stage.

I went out and cleared the cars off, and it was snowing again.

I was actually able to get the Chinatown bus to Boston instead. Yay for bus companies that are unwise enough to run in such weather, but boo for no buses up north :-(

Also, if you wouldn't mind mailing that bus ticket to me so I can try to get them to refund my money (which is about as likely as my guinea pig coming back from the dead, but you never know), I'd appreciate it.
