1) I was considering doing a post that simply reads, "I'm going to start incorporating fake grunge slang into my daily conversation," just to see how long it would take until someone called me a cob nobbler.

2) I'm no technophobe, and I don't generally get freaked out at benign consumer electronics, but I'll admit it: when I see Bluetooth, I think "Borg."

3) I know antilock brakes are supposed to do that ka-chunk-ka-chunk thing when stopping on an icy surface. That doesn't mean it terrifies me out any less.

Borg are cool, but I tend to think the person using it looks like they've lost it, even if I can see the little headset.

1. Please don't.

2. Yeah. Believe me, it feels no less weird at first being the one wearing the Bluetooth. Damned useful things, though. With the right card in your computer, they connect. With a "Dock and talk" you can use your home landline when anyone calls your cell phone.

3. Dude, I hear ya.
