Three musings
Jan. 30th, 2008 11:07 am1) I was considering doing a post that simply reads, "I'm going to start incorporating fake grunge slang into my daily conversation," just to see how long it would take until someone called me a cob nobbler.
2) I'm no technophobe, and I don't generally get freaked out at benign consumer electronics, but I'll admit it: when I see Bluetooth, I think "Borg."
3) I know antilock brakes are supposed to do that ka-chunk-ka-chunk thing when stopping on an icy surface. That doesn't mean it terrifies me out any less.

Date: 2008-01-30 06:47 pm (UTC)2. Yeah. Believe me, it feels no less weird at first being the one wearing the Bluetooth. Damned useful things, though. With the right card in your computer, they connect. With a "Dock and talk" you can use your home landline when anyone calls your cell phone.

Last night it was so cold it was ridiculous!
