Things you do not want to hear coming from your seven-year-old son: "Wow! Dora's hot!" *dies a thousand quiet but very tangible deaths*

In other news, I finally got my hands on some inexpensive, high-quality blank playing cards, so I've been going kazango putting together the tentatively-titled Everything and a G'moink (yes, [livejournal.com profile] issendai, that's "Gboingmoink" to you), a card game that's been in the works for a long while. The concept is from a game creation I abandoned two years ago, the game mechanics are from the [livejournal.com profile] shadesong-based game that I presented to her Arisia before last, the planned distribution model was suggested by [livejournal.com profile] zarhooie eons ago, and the cards themselves are rather crack-addled. (Examples: "Lint," "Appletini," "Mysterious Green Fuzz," "Haunted Bowling Ball," and "Casmir Pulaski Day." Oh, and "Doohickey." Yes, it's playable, I swear.) Watch this space, or find me two months from now.

So, yeah. Also, I'm still a sheepish tongue-tied dork. Hi. *waves*

That remark coming from a 7yo might call for a "light" discussion of what that really meant to him. Sounds like a linguistic experiment.

Would you have felt better if your 11-year old daughter had said it?

The game sounds fun, though...
