Grr. P'tui.
Apr. 4th, 2008 10:43 pmInjury, meet insult: not only has our rent been jacked up by $60 a month on the new lease agreement we received this afternoon, but our attempt to order a pizza from Green House, home of the best wings I have ever tasted, was met with a recording stating that the restaurant has gone out of business. (Yes,
issendai, this was the place we ordered from just this past Saturday.) Someone please for to point me toward this day's testicles, so that I may kick them. Thank you.
On the other hand, I did have a caller this evening who insisted that he shouldn't have to pay for directory assistance under the Freedom of Information Act.

Date: 2008-04-05 03:29 am (UTC)Me, I wish the telco would *stop* dumping phone books in my driveway. Bloody useless, the things are. Half my friends don't use landlines and the half that do, live in group houses where the phone is in someone else's name. And, like I said, the internets pwns over phone books. No dead trees, you don't have to recycle the old ones every year, etc., etc.

Look to see if there's a similar bylaw protecting you.
