slipjig31) My biggest accomplishment for today: figuring out the chords for "Internet Porn" by Da Vinci's Notebook. More things to torture friends and loved ones with!
2) You know your job has gotten silly when you spend more time at the office playing Texas Hold'em than doing any actual verifiable work.
3) Also, I finally got asked about the pentacle necklace I occasionally wear to work, by two different people. They were refreshingly curious and respectful, although the more Christian of the two did feign a case of the vapors, more for show that anything (before mentioning that she had relatives hanged during the Salem witch trials). Sweet people.
4) As per Anna's Hannu-kwanz-yul-mas present from her Bubbe way back in December, we're going to a taping of NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me in Schenectady tomorrow! Woohoo! Already crossing my fingers for Roy Blount Jr. and Paula Poundstone. (Also, I have no clue what celebrity they're going to drag on-stage for "Not My Job." Albany doesn't do celebrities, thank you.)
5) Need to keep an eye open for a used portable DVD player, ultra-cheap. This will solve various problems.
