I promised I'd list recent good things in my life. In that regard:

* new work contract!
* hanging out with jenphalian, sideshownate, zarhooie and (briefly) lbitw, with jam-making and crab alfredo involved
* breakfast with rafaela's grandmother
* chatting with figmentj, daev and felisdemens
* kids are in town!
* ordering my ten-year service anniversary reward: a digital camera (finally)
* care package from chris_walsh
* maverick_weirdo informed me that happyfunpaul performed "88 Lines About 44 Fangirls" at Worldcon... *boggle*
* the leaves are already beginning to turn

I like life. I do. And I like being able to say that.

re: digital camera - w00t! I hope it's a good one that works with your system...I know it gets tricky when you have a Mac.
