* Questions you do not want to field from your own 11-year-old daughter: "Dad, is it hard being a ladies' man?" *sigh* She also used the phrase "babe magnet."

* The same girl-child was wearing no fewer than four Hannah Montana-related articles of clothing and accessories today. Somewhere, somehow, we have failed. (Then again, when Richard Thompson's cover of "Oops! I Did It Again" came on the mix CD we were listening to, she seemed unaware that anyone female had ever recorded it before this "real" version.)

* After ten-plus years, I am amazed at my callers' ability to come up with new stuff: a guy called me up and asked to be put on hold, so he could listen to the jingle.

* How's everybody doing?

The good news: my Amazon order arrived, so I have lots of good new music to listen to.

The bad news: I'm sick and will be working from home for the rest of the week at a minimum.
