So let's go over the systems that have gone into partial system failure lately (intermittent TMI possible):
Digestive: Food poisoning, or some such. All I know is that after several...um, we'll call them "attacks," I finally gave up and left work. At home, I've accepted additional coddling from
rafaela and a stiff shot of nasty pink stuff, and all seems to be well, more or less. We'll test out the status quo with something edible and non-threatening later.
Dermatological: My nose, thankfully, has surrendered in its attempt at the Guinness record for "Most Zits on a Single Nose," so yay that. Even if this were not the case, though, I'd still be doing better than
rafaela, who on Monday had part of her face surgically removed. (Two suspicious moles were excised by a plastic surgeon, and the offending tissue is now in mid-biopsy. Yes, she's doing fine, and healing nicely, although the stitches are apparently itching like a mofo.)
Mental: I still have no explanation for the brain cramp that led me to turn at an intersection and directly into the oncoming traffic lane without so much as blinking, until I figured out that, yes, there indeed was a big honking neon problem here several yards later. No cars were coming and no one was otherwise affected, but I seriously need my brain to NOT DO THAT.
