Well, I just got done reading through my f'list.

As a result, I now want to crawl in a dark little hole and cry for a long, long while.

*sigh*

Hey, everybody? I want to you all, each and every one of you, to reply to this post and tell me something good. Something positive. Some good news. Something to make me and everyone else smile.

Seriously. I need this. I think a sizable number of you need it, too.

I just finished day 8 in a row of doing at least a 30 minute workout on Wii Fit. I'm having so much fun, and although I'm sore, I can tell I am playing with muscles that haven't been played with in ages. (I still think they need a WiiFit MMORG, though.)

In other news, I am getting paid to do things I love to do. And some of my friends are too! I love having creative, interesting friends (oh, puzzle maker!)

And, for non-jess related goodness! http://www.goodnewsdaily.com/show_story.php?ID=8844

This is kinda nifty!

Um. The roleplaying game I joined recently is a lot of fun and I'm meeting some nice people through it?

Also, I'm really excited about the scarification I'm getting done on the 6th.

As much as my entire household is SICK and TIRED of hearing about HOMECOMING (my god the HORROR)...the dress is done, the flowers are ordered, Kritter made reservations for her friends at Buca di Beppo.

Homecoming madness is in full swing...it's awesome. (to me) it's fun. It's teenage energy at it's best.

Summer Glau is still freakin' hot.

Chocolate is still tasty.

I can still write. (I'm also proud of this from earlier this month.)

'Song is still having a blast in Louisiana.

Jeph Jacques of Questionable Content got married this week!

When more good news hits, I'll report it.

1. My hair is getting longer and longer. It is below my shoulders.

2. I move into my new apartment tomorrow.

3. I am not having to look for a job amidst the current financial crap happening in the world.

4. Starbucks has their pumpkin spice lattes back, and there is a Starbucks on the first floor of the building where I work.

5. I have finally defeated all three difficulty levels of all eight mazes in Bloons Tower Defense 3.

I discovered that Sci-Fi is having a Stargate: SG-1 marathon, so I'm going to watch that when I run on the treadmill at lunch.

I have nummy coffee, and the day is going by quickly.

Today is Friday.

We get a new-to-us bookshelf today!!!

The neighborhood cats have reappeared (I was worried about them: Smoky Cat, Brindle Cat, and Lord Flufferbutt).

I finished my first knitting project and have started trying to knit a Jayne hat (instead of crocheting it).

I lost nearly 2 pounds this week.

I have pretty red hair again and glamorously thin eyebrows.

I'm going to second the "Summer Glau is still hot," comment from above.

It's Friday and I get a weekend with the boys! And a baby shower tomorrow for my sister in law.

Okay, that last one isn't that positive, because I'm going to have to submit to all manner of baby shower games that I kind of loathe... but hey, there might be cake! And who doesn't like cake?

I swear I will review some happy stuff on netflix next.
And I got Other Colors by Orhan Pamuk from the library yesterday.

Also? My brand-new Lenovo NETBOOK should be arriving on Monday or Tuesday! It will be small and light and i will carry it around in my backpack! Netbook, NETBOOK, NETBOOK!!!! Backpack, BACKPACK, BACKPACK!!!!

The builder says we should be back in our house in less than two months, now.

DH and i have a top-secret plan for something very positive next year.

They're probably still stuck on prime numbers and bilateral symmetry. That is, only two per person, in the correct configuration. We can dream...
