(Seriously, you would not believe the number of times the phrase, "We're going corset-shopping" got uttered this weekend. Not only that, but the corsetry that did get purchased tended to be of phenomenal quality and gorgeously constructed. I...yes. Just yes. As a wise person said, "This is an awfully pretty Con this year.")

Date: 2009-01-21 08:01 pm (UTC)Also, they were generally very well fitted. The vast majority of the corsetry being worn (at least what I saw) did not have the too-common failure mode in which the corsetry makes the wearer look like certain body parts have been inadvertently attached upside down.
