Les Lye, You Can't Do That on Television's only male adult performer for most if not all of its long run, has passed away at 84.
Everyone mainly remembers him as Barth the burger-slinger, it seems, but he also played Ross the show's director, Mr. Schidler the teacher, Lance the dad, Flip the arcade owner, the principal, the German dungeon master, the firing squad capitano, the bus driver, the announcer, and countless others (not to mention a couple of roles in sketches for the short-lived Turkey Television). Ah, me, he'll be sorely, sorely missed. *raises Barthy Burger in tribute*

(I still love the episode where all the studio's warrenties run out on the same day and stuff starts breaking, falling, exploding...)
