1) For those of you who are old-school fans of the Drovers (both of you), somebody posted a live bootleg EP from 1990. It contains four songs from their bloody-hard-to-find self-bootlegged live cassette (the one that even predates World of Monsters) and a very early version of "I'll See You Below in the Morning," which showed up 12 years later on their hard-to-find-doesn't-even-begin-to-cover-it self-titled final CD. Squee! (If I haven't already bombarded you with the music of the Drovers yet, download their amazing masterpiece, World of Monsters, at what's left of their website here. Little Sky High Show is there, too, but it's a pale comparison.)
2) For the film geeks out there, IMDb linked to a nifty collection of movie title stills—frames showing the moment when the film's title appears on screen. Why hasn't anyone done this before?
3)
jonathancastell has some amazing architectural and urban-decay photography up at his LJ. Go check it out.
4) The works of Karl Hans Janke: fantasy technical drawings by a brilliant madman who didn't know his drawings were fantasy. Astonishing. (Many thanks to
mgrasso for the link.)
