1) Note to self: When you say you're going to bed early, remember: 1 a.m. is not early. It's early in the morning, yes, but it's not early for you.
2) I don't believe I ever mentioned that the surplus in my office has been dealt with, and my job is now secure. Yay! Now I get to go walk the picket line with everyone else next month!
3) I had a dream about
shadesong last night. She was collecting PayPal donations for some worthy cause, and I ended up needing to call her to impart some sort of information. I told her who I was, and she sounded pleasantly surprised. 'Twas neat.
4) Abbey has finally glommed onto her Peter, Paul and Mommy CD, 6 1/2 months after receiving it. I greatly impressed her by knowing all the words to "I Have a Song to Sing, O"; given how many times I listened to the thing on vinyl when I was a kid, I'd better darn well know them.
5) At work today, I got roped into creating a puzzle contest for my coworkers. Which is fine, except that I'm supposed to create a puzzle that emphasizes several bullet points that Management would like to emphasize. Which means that I have to figure out how to incorporate the importance of a friendly tone, the fact that our monthly CST objective stands at 23.6, and that we haven't been meeting our incidental absense guildelines into a puzzle. *sigh* Well, a crossword's out of the question...
6) Have I mentioned that y'all are the bestest friends a guy could have? Thank you all!

Date: 2003-07-09 06:07 pm (UTC)You know, whenever LJ friends visit me in the land of Morpheus, they are either wanting me to work or to argue with me. Why can't they seem pleasantly surprised to see me? Ahh, well...

Date: 2003-07-09 06:10 pm (UTC)Stop by my dream bubble sometime; I promise I'll be pleasantly surprised. :) This was actually only my second LJ dream; the first didn't even involve an actual LJ friend, but one my subconsciousness concocted to create an Uncomfortable Situation for me. I liked this one better.
