Genties and ladlemen, I think I can speak with all modesty and the highest truth when I say I have had the BEST FRICKIN' BIRTHDAY WEEKEND EVER. Full report will follow (and yes, I'll actually remember the extended report this time), but at the moment I'm rather punchy and in need to sleep. I believe, however, that I can best summarize the overarching mood by repeating my relevant FB status: "How f&@%ing amazing is my birthday? It started with breakfast in bed, and ended with duck confit and a burlesque circus."

And that was just Friday, kids. It only got better.

For now, I shall sleep in preparation for more work upon the morn. Whilst I do, answer me, I prithee: What is your greatest joy right now?
