See, now, here's the thing about wallowing in self-pity:
When it's happening, you want to tell people about it.
But when you try to express it in words, it sounds pathetic.
So you don't tell anybody about it.
Which makes you feel like you have nooooobody to talk to.
Which, of course, makes you wallow in self-pity.

But y'know, it's really hard to pity yourself when you're poking a penguin. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] mnfiddledragon and [livejournal.com profile] shadesong, for wrecking a perfectly good sulk. Now, if you'll excuse me... *poke* *poke* *poke* *poke* *BLAMMO* *evil cackle*
