slipjig3This was a meme going around four or five years ago. I turned it into a big contest thing back in 2008, and have been toying with the thought of dusting it off and giving it another once around the park, and after spending two days staring at my DVDs and mentally sorting out what I would include I figured I might as well give it a go.
So, yes, it’s me doing yet another stupid labor-intensive movie-related thing in my LJ. Sue me.
The 2011 Movie Stills Quiz
Behind the cut, you will find still shots taken from 60 different movies, culled mostly from my and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
figmentj’s combined DVD collection with a few library and Netflix acquisitions thrown in, and ranging from old to new, from popular to obscure, and from highbrow to lowbrow. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to identify as many of the movies as you can.
To participate, click on the cut link below, and enter your guess in the blank immediately below each image. There is no penalty for a wrong answer, so wild and/or educated guesses are more than welcome. IMPORTANT: Because of the limitations of the LJ poll feature, I have broken the quiz into four separate parts of fifteen stills each, and labeled each with a color. Make sure you click all four “Submit” buttons to enter! The management is not responsible for missing answers due to failure to press all four.
The winner(s) will be the person(s) to correctly identify the most stills, with a maximum possible score of 60 out of 60. Half points may be awarded at the discretion of the judging panel (read: me) for answers that aren’t quite right, but clearly close. I should probably note that I tend to make these things on the hard side (and probably harder than I intend to), so expectations of 60 images of ruby slippers and/or Darth Vader should perhaps be set aside.
