Sorry, did I say five down, five to go on the album? Make that four down, six to go. I went to give "Untitled" the final once-over before exporting. I caught a bit of unwanted noise on the vocal track, which I went to remove. I made a point of saving immediately before doing so, for the twentieth time. Garage Band crashed. And the vocal track—the whole damned thing—went with it. It's gone. I don't know where. I don't know why. All I know is that THIS IS THE PART OF THE SHOW WHERE THE STABBING HAPPENS. STAB STAB STAB DEATH PAIN MURDER STAB.

Bah. Should have taken the NyQuil.

Here's a thing worth a try: do a search for all files modified that day. Sometimes files get saved as strange names and/or temp files. (Not sure if that'll work on the Mac, but here's to hoping!)
