It's Friday night, and everybody knows that nobody reads LJ over the weekend, so naturally I'm here to incite the nobody that everybody knows in heated debate. So for those locals past, present, and future amongst you, address the following question that has been under discussion today:

Best burger in the Boston area. Go.

Not a clue, I haven't had a burger in Boston since Reagan was president. Good to know for future reference though.

Christopher's would be my choice as well.

I had a lovely burger back in 2001 at Christopher's near Porter Square. Otherwise, insufficient data.

Christopher's has the advantage that there are no antibiotics in their hamburger meat. Now: if anyone finds a burger joint that used organic, grass-fed, frre-range, humane meat, I will do a happy dance in their honor. In my living room. And send off all that energy to the awesomeness that is the peron who tipped me off.

The burger at Christopher's is what sparked this discussion, as I believe it's my best so far.

Interesting! I haven't had a chance to do much food exploration in Boston... I'm always there on business, not for fun, and thus subject to other people's schedules and tastes.

B.good and Smashburger - but remember it must both be super tasty and have an excellent gf bun. Both fit the bill very nicely.

Well... for me it depends on what you want the burger for. The char? The tender inside? The toppings?

The best toppings around Boston would probably be at Bartley's. Their burgers are quite good.
The best tender inside... I'd probably go with Tasty Burger. So far the best char with a still-good interior... well, I'm still looking for the proper balance when eating out. The last time I went to Boston Burger Company I got the chili. I think they overcharge for their burgers. They're good but not that good.

Places where I currently enjoy eating burgers out include b.good, Tasty Burger, Bartley's, and Five Guys (sadly but truly). Fuddruckers is decent but not in my current commuting area.

And all that said, my favorite burgers around Boston are my own. Go figure.
