Please help me mitigate my stupidity

Because it is the product of a fallible and imperfect universe, my Mac's hard drive has gone all kablooey, and because I too am the product of etc. etc., I have neglected to back it up. Go, me. The good news is that the data's still there and I have ways of getting it off of said machine, but I need to know if anyone happens to have a fairly sizable (i.e. 100-200 GB) external hard drive that I might borrow to store my stuff until I can get the drive replaced. An exchange of favors is more than acceptable to make this happen. Anyone know of anyone?

If worst comes to worst you can buy one at just about any Best Buy or similar that has up to 1-3 TB and will plug in your USB port.
I have one that my system has backed up to since the day I bought my new desktop for just this reason.

That reminds me I need to back-up my computer.

That being said, I have a 1.5 TB drive, which assuming I can now find to backup my things, and you work around what is saved on it, you can certainly borrow it for a spell. Question is, when I would get it to you?
