I've set a goal of posting something every day, and while I have a long-ass list of Big Topics I'll still need to play the "five things make a post" card from time to time. Oh, look, here's one now:

1) I finally saw The Godfather over the weekend for the first time. (Yes, I know, bad cinephile! No Merlot!) Thought it was brilliant; absolutely get why some people think it sun-dried garbage.

2) Tonight we dipped into Only Murders in the Building. Did not expect it to be as delightful as it is.

3) I gave money to a piano tuner this morning, so strike that one off the ol' bucket list.

4) Is it ironic or just cruel that "strength day" at the gym means being unable to lift cereal boxes under your own power afterward?

5) Pasta with mushrooms, bacon, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Yes, please, and thank you.

Totally feel ya on #4. Did you ever watch Galavant? The bit that won me over was the first episode where he has one day to train for a joust after being severely out of practice. They do the whole classic training montage ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHPph-VuQUI ) and then, the next day when it's actually time for the joust; he can't move or lift his arms. I can't unfortunately, find that clip, but here's the actual joust. I think they drugged his opponent.
