Whatever's on my mind:
1) Yes, my LJ addiction has officially taken root: when creating crossword puzzles, I now routinely have to remind myself that the user names of people on my friends list are not in and of themselves acceptible grid-fill. (B-but
enegim would've been perfect...)
2) Maybe if I just pretend that my nose isn't starting to run, then it'll stop.
3) Confidential to a certain caller at work: Ma'am, I understand you wanting to yell at me for "messing up your phone," but I can assure you that I did not break into your home and poison your chicken wings when you weren't looking.
4) Hm, before I type this, I should go in the basement and check... hold on a sec... *splish* *splosh* *splash* Yep. The sump pump still blows.
5) T-minus 22 hours, 35 minutes until
rafaela's plane lands. And yes, I am so counting.

3) ...poison her chicken wings? The hell? Customers are strange people.
4) I feel stupid for asking this, but what do sump pumps do?
5) Eeeeeeee! *sends happy thoughts for a wonderful visit, and hugs to Ms.
Peace be with you, Adam. :)

Date: 2003-12-19 06:53 am (UTC)No seriously, I remember basements from when I used to live in NY. They have a tendency to fill up with water when it rains, or when the snow melts. So generally they have a sump pump in the basement to keep the water level down, so the kids don't float away or sumpthin'. Eeeeee hee heee!
