Jun. 13th, 2011 11:20 pmI've been meaning to ask the LJ hive mind this one for a while: What are your pet typos? I'm not referring to those words you can never remember how to spell correctly, of which everyone seems to have a few ("occurred" is such a bugaboo for me that I didn't bother using it in print for years), but rather those specific typing errors that always seem to slip in if you're not paying attention, say, during online chats.
Aside from FAst TYping OVercapitalization SYndrome and a nasty habit of using improper homophones—I apparently not only write by dictating to myself in my head, but also regularly mishear myself in the process—my big ongoing typing problems are:
* "fo" instead of "of"
* "husg" instead of "hugs"
* "I live you" instead of "I love you" (on iPhone only, and that's even without autocorrect)
How about you?
